Filament Samples

All filament samples are at least 20 meters in length (actually more, I increased the length to eat up the extra filament being left behind on the rolls)

Fillamentum from FilamentOne

Luminous Orange Extrafill PLA

Extrusion Temp: 190 to 210C
Bed Temp: 0-60C

The Luminous Orange color was obviously selected to represent the orange of Halloween and to celebrate pumpkins! I found it works great for the included music box kit detailed below!

Black Sparkle PLA

Extrusion Temp: 190 to 220C
Bed Temp: 0-50C

Representing the black of Halloween with an added sparkle to allow you to enjoy the star filled night sky.

Transparent Purple PLA+

Extrusion Temp: 190 to 230C
Bed Temp: 0-80C

For the little witch in all of us, this transparent purple is just a beautiful color to compliment little ghouls and ghosts around your 3D Printers!

Glow-in-the-Dark PLA

Extrusion Temp: 190 to 220C
Bed Temp: 0-50C

What kind of Halloween would it be without some glow?

Note: Glow-In-The-Dark filament has been known to add extra wear to soft nozzles. However this is usually after a good amount of use and I do not believe the sample this month would cause any harm.

Bonus Accessory!

Boron Nitride Paste (5 cc)

Boron nitride paste has long been used as a "heat transfer and release coating" for industrial cartridge heaters. Our paste is an aqueous suspension that, when dry, does not conduct electricity but remains an excellent thermal conductor.

Useful on the heater cartridges, nozzles and temperature sensors.

Bonus Projects!

There are 2 bonus projects this month!

UFO Fidget Spinner

Designed by Dan the 3D Printing Dad

Dan wanted to create something for the UFO box and this month he came up with a UFO fidget spinner that is weighted with pennies! Inside the UFO you should have a little baggie containing 2 skate bearings. Dan has also been super awesome by providing very detailed instructions on printing and constructing the spinner.

Pumpkin Music Box

Designed by Chris Freize from Inspyre3D

You may know Chris / Inspyre3D as the host of the new Community Printoff contests.

Well he was looking for something to do, so I put him to work! HAHA... Actually I needed help and he offered. The result is a Pumpkin Music Box! Chris designed the pumpkin in a way so that the tealight inside is able to shine light through the eyes, nose and mouth. In addition to that he based the face off of Jack the Pumpkin King to go along with the song that I've pre-programmed into the music device... This Is Halloween!

In the UFO you should find 1 digital and reprogrammable music device and an LED color changing tea light!
